Our Client is an international company that will develop their structures in Warsaw. For their structures we are looking to hire candidate for the position of IT Operations Team Leader

Job Description

  • Management and coordination of technical issues and requests through to successful completion
  • To provide line management and leadership to direct reports and apply performance management to ensure levels of performance meet set objectives
  • Management of problems that fall under the responsibility of the team; Provision and management of application integration layers
  • Provision and management of database platforms and application integration layers
  • Work with 3rd party suppliers to ensure that the service delivers value; Proactively manage escalations with the service provide
  • Champion the use of automation monitoring and responses across all platforms
  • Responsible for the implementation and management of technical knowledge base articles, work instructions and process/operational documentation
  • To pro-actively address issues or risks affecting the ability to provide a great service to our Clients and Customers
  • Pro-actively review and troubleshoot problem areas to improve security and service; To own the Continuous
  • Service Improvement for the IT Operations team
  • Production on service reporting on performance of the team and the experience of the customer
  • To provide relevant knowledge and assistance during Major Incidents; Ensuring that issues are resolved effectively

The Successful Applicant

  • Proven ability to lead a technical support team and manage people and resource to provide an effective service
  • Customer focused approach
  • Ability to work in a fluid business environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • A pro-active approach and proven track record of taking ownership and facilitating change
  • Ability to guide and mentor team members undertaking technical investigations
  • Experience working in a change management environment and applying change governance and controls
  • An ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and ideas to a non-technical audience
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to take the lead in coordinating the efforts of team members and suppliers
  • Experience working with third party suppliers for the provision of support
